Today in Russia, as well as all over the world, the issue of energy conservation is extremely acute. Every day, the need for effective technologies for warming houses that can solve the problem of maintenance of heat and reduce heating costs is growing.
Recently, in Russia, as in Europe, the most popular and effective solution to this problem was the technology of insulation of a “wet” type: heat insolu – glue to the surface of the wall and fixed mechanically, and then finished with plaster. The facade is called “wet” because water is used to prepare glue and plaster.
This system allows the building to give an attractive appearance, does not reduce the living space, does not create additional load on the walls, protects the house from freezing, fungus, excessive moisture and heat loss, and increases the level of soundproofing.
Being practical and really effective, the system of “wet” facade is cheaper than other technologies. Due to the high heat -saving characteristics and low cost “wet”, the facade has found widespread use in the decoration of industrial structures, new buildings, cottages, low -rise summer houses, as well as the reconstruction of old buildings.
Key moment
The indispensable conditions for the use of this system are strict compliance with installation technology and the use of quality materials on which the installation process and the life of the facade will depend. The reinforced layer deserves the most close attention, which largely determines the durability of the “wet” facade. The use of low -quality fiberglass mesh will ultimately lead to the formation of cracks and destruction of the system, which will negatively affect both the appearance of the building and the ability of the “wet” facade to perform its functions.
In the technology of the “wet” facade, only a special facade grid has a technical certificate, which is the main guarantor of high quality and correspondence of products with the necessary requirements.
Basic requirements for grids
• high resistance to alkaline components.
• Resistance to gaps and sprains of at least 2000 N5 cm.
• correct geometric dimensions.
These requirements fully meet the X-Glass® Petafasad 195 GM2 mesh (technical certificate No. 3228-11) and TG-Textilglas® (technical certificate No. 2365-09), which have high resistance to tears and stretching and high resistance to alkaline components even in conditions of high humidity.
Why should the grid be a click? The fact is that in most systems of insulation of the facades of a “wet” type, dry mixes are used, in which cement is used as a binder. Accordingly, the facade grid as a reinforcing element is constantly in a stronger environment. An ordinary fiberglass for reinforcing the facade is not suitable, because it will completely dissolve in the reinforcing layer, and cracks on the facade may appear in a year.
Sudden changes in the temperature and humidity of the air are also dangerous for the facade, so the mesh should have high resistance to ruptures and sprains, which helps to overcome internal stresses with any climate.
Correct geometry
The correct geometric size of the grid is no less important. Uneven canvases will lead to the impossibility of working with it. If the roll, turning around, moves to some side by more than 5-6 cm, then “bubbles” will inevitably arise on the facade, which are unacceptable during the installation process.
In places with increased mechanical loads (walls of stairwells during their thermal insulation, walls of walls in balconies, facades of buildings at the level of the first floor), it is recommended to use anti-vandal (carapace) nets TG-Textilglas® TG-171, which meet the highest requirements for strength and perception of power loads.
In addition to the grid, the reinforced layer is composed of additional elements – profiles, the use of which allows the formation of cracks and the destruction of the plaster layer at the corners of the buildings, in the places of adjustment of door, window openings and ceilings to the walls. In the modern construction of residential and public buildings, plastic profiles were widely used, including with a reinforcing grid.
The technology of the “wet” facade has great advantages, and, having decided to insulate the house with its help, you should strictly observe the installation technology and use only high -quality materials. In this case, the “wet” facade will last a very long time, making the house comfortable, cozy and beautiful.
Multilayer “pie”
The system of “wet” facade is a multi -layer structure (often it is called “pie”), consisting of three layers that perform certain functions:
1) the heat -insulating layer (plates from material with a low thermal conductivity coefficient providing insulation of the enclosing structure);
2) a reinforced layer (adhesive composition that is resistant to alkali, a fiberglass grid and special profiles) carries the main load and determines the durability of the system;
3) protective-decorative layer (decorative plaster).
