The Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation predicts that the maximum growth of tariffs will be no more than 10-11%.
Housing and communal services tariffs (housing and communal services) in January-August in Russia grew up by December last year by an average of 6.1%. Inflation in the first 8 months compared to 2011 amounted to 4.6% as evidenced by the data of Rosstat (Federal State Statistics Service).Tariff growth in August amounted to 0.4%. It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, garbage collection has risen most of all – by 6.3%, gas supply – by 13.8%, hot water supply – by 6.2%, as well as cold water supply and sanitation – by 6%.
The main growth of housing and communal services tariffs, as a rule, was in January, but this year the regions were recommended to increase tariffs from July 1. In addition, from September 1, 2012, additional indexation of tariffs for water supply, heat supply and sanitation for the population is provided – it is expected that by 6%.
