The social structure for the Islamic (historical) Cairo Modern Cairo (al-Kehira in the Arabic language, which means “victorious”) was founded as the imperial city of the conquest army in 969 of our era, at the head of the location, where the Nile is split into its two main branches. This began as a royal composition surrounded by a wall with extremely organized palaces, plastes, and lush gardens. However, within 200 years after its founding and this fall in its conquest dynasty, Cairo quickly moved to medieval social fabric, which largely exists today. In its height in power and wealth in the mid-1930s, the medieval Cairo was the largest cosmopolitan city in the world, having a population of more than 500,000 people in its walls and acted as a center of all trade, as it moved from east to Europe and West.
The fabric of the Islamic capital is significantly crystallized within the 100-year period into a complex network of a social, economic, religious and cultural network. The historical district of Cairo today is the remainder of those relations, most of which still work almost the same, since they did 1000 years ago, after its foundation. The growth of modern capital Cairo far exceeded its medieval numbers and is currently the largest city, and in Africa and in the Middle East with a population of more than 15 million people. The proper Cairo has a density of more than 90,000 people per square mile and is suffocating from the Hyper accumulation of each type.Modern difficulty: horizontal accumulation, lack of vertical density, and social samples of the remarkable state of modern Cairo, paradoxically, Hyper is a horizontal accumulation as one of the only dense cities in the world. While there is an almost complete absence of structures less than 3 stories, there are also a very low percentage of buildings exceeding 10 – 12 stories, a wide city, C, typically lower structures in the historical area. A rare exception to this is the Cairo Tower, which is the 187 -meter infrastructure telecommunication tower built in 1961. In 187 meters, this is the highest concrete (that is, no steel columns or structures) in the world and stands as a modern landmark in the horizon, otherwise separately in the power of thousands of minarets built over the previous 1000 years. While the most obvious device to deal with a horizontal cluster is a typology of a skyscraper, this is almost never carried out by the population of Cairne. Its standard spatial organization and the normative method of directing direct disagreements with unofficial interactions that were specified for the previous millennium.Medieval difficulty: the study of the wealth and power of the sultans of the medieval Cairo Mamaluk in historical fabric and religious institutions, urban fabric passed its most exciting period of the building of the monument, growth, and crystallization. A thorough study of the historical city shows that there is no absolute path to which medieval complexity can be directed or given a number of leading rules. Instead, all growth occurs through a few absolute “undoubted facts” added by a symbiotic way with a significant amount of “tendencies” that occur as a result of forces, many of which conduct undoubted facts. In Islamic cities of historical nature, the construction of mosques acts as an operation of “confidence” in fabric. All mosques in accordance with Muslim law are obliged to be a person to Mecca. Building the mosque, the fabric is removed, the mosques built with its appropriate orientation, and subsequently, over time, the fabric grows again around the recently built “confidence”. Type and configuration of fabric are vaguely adjusted and exclusively respond to symbiotic forces at present. They become the construction of “Trends”.Looking at the mosque directly definitely from the medieval period of Mamaluk, it is easily identified that the buildings themselves were the first typologies of complex mutual programming and civilian and religious lives that theocracy controls. The complex of the Sultan Hassen Mosque, completed at 1363, was the most massive structure of his time and placed in addition to religious actions of the day, 4 schools, bedrooms for 400 people, hospitals, and shelter. Massive construction also contained infrastructure work, such as the water tower that helped to support the population. A separate room was also circumvented as a mausoleum for the cartridge of the building.Analyzing the “undoubted facts” and “trends” of the constructed fabric, along with comprehensive programming of the medieval complex of the mosque, there is an opportunity to answer the Hyper Cairo Couring through the mechanism of medieval morphology, which is responsive to both unofficial relations, complex social patterns, and to the trajectory of time. The proposed tower of the skyscraper should develop a programmed infrastructure (not unreasonable with the “Cairo Tower”), which strategically puts modern “undoubted facts”, such as a mosque, Madrassa, secular schools, a library, a hospital, and a scrap everywhere in structure. As soon as the undoubted facts are established, unofficial “trends” will take possession and fill out the infrastructure. The proposed project presents a speculative undermined growth cycle of 100 years, where the trends will be filled, the tower and help facilitate horizontal accumulation.
