Sand-concrete is a dry mixture of gray color, which consists of Portland cement of low stamps, sifted river quartz sand with a size of not more than 3 mm, as well as mineral and organic additives, giving sand concrete additional valuable properties- frost resistance, etc. D. Also, sand concrete can vary depending on the number in its composition Portland cement: the greater its content, the higher the technical characteristics of the sand concrete. In accordance with the classification of GOST, the sand concrete belongs to the category of fine -grained concrete, which, due to their structure, differ in high tensile strength.
Sand concrete does not shrink, has high strength characteristics. It is resistant to corrosion, temperature differences (the operation temperature of products from -50 to +70 ° C) and other external factors, waterproof, in a word, is indispensable for the region with any, even the most severe climate, up to the far north, subject to the presence of anti -gun additives. Sand concrete – environmentally friendly and fireproof material.
The main directions of the use of sand concrete.
The device of the floors of high strength in industrial buildings, as well as in garages, basements, etc. P. If sand concrete is used as a bulk floor in rooms with high humidity, then the need for additional waterproofing disappears. In addition, the floor of their sand concrete has good soundproofing and heat -saving parameters.
– Fill the foundation, grounds for various purposes
– As connective material when performing wall masonry
– Creation of a supporting layer in various structures
– Building walls (both supporting and interior partitions). Walls from the sandburn mixture can be plastered, lined with tiles, etc.D.
– Plastering work
– Concreting stairs
– Production of castings
– Clamping surfaces from concrete
The use of sand concrete.
The sand concrete is incomprehensible in use, and the process of preparing a sand concrete solution from a dry mixture is extremely simple: dry mixes are diluted with water in a proportion of about 1-1.5 liters of water temperature for 10 liters of dry mixture, thoroughly stir until a homogeneous mass is obtained, and after 3- after 3- 5 minutes of sand concrete is ready for use. It is important to achieve the optimal consistency of the solution: an excess of water can lead to cracks and a decrease in strength, and insufficient water will affect the quality of the surface.
The sand mixture must be applied to a clean, dry, solid surface. If on the working surface there are remains of paint or other coating, dust, dirt or soot, they need to be removed.
Another of the important properties of sand concrete is rapid hardening. This allows you to use it for quick concreting of the bases of any purpose, including in emergency work: already 48 hours after pouring with sand concrete, the base is ready for operation. However, it must be remembered that it is recommended to produce a farthest finish (for example, laying a parquet or laminate on the floor of sand concrete) if possible not earlier than a week later, and the complete hardening of sand concrete occurs only after 28-30 days.
The flip side of this advantage is perhaps the only drawback: the finished solution must be used within 1 hour
A wide range of temperatures when pouring- +5-30 ° C-allows you to successfully use sand concrete in a variety of weather conditions.
Due to the low cost, sand concrete can in many cases replace more expensive materials with a short practical effect, for example, foam concrete, brick or commodity concrete.
Blocks made of sand concrete weigh much fewer brick analogues, which significantly reduces the load on the supporting structures, and also makes it possible to use sand concrete on the shade of soil. Indeed, unlike concrete produced using ordinary technology, sand concrete does not have heavy aggregates such as crushed stone. By the way, it is this property that also facilitates the supply of sand concrete using concrete pumps.
Such a set of advantages allows you to successfully use sand concrete in construction work of a different nature.
